Professionalism Definition Essay

Decent Essays
My definition of professionalism is more of vision. Professionalism means to dress properly for an office environment. If someone is not sure what office dress code is, that asked for help. Next is personal hygiene, I do not have to go to great details. Professionalism is also, be prepared and ready to learn, be on time and chose your words while speaking with others. There is no need for slang words or attitude. My expectations from my externship are of course to gain more knowledge from my filed. I do not expect to learn much because 60hours are not much. But perhaps to observe how to speak with clients, how is the office run and get to know everyone name and responsibility.

I was overwhelmed when I got hired by this company, I mean, first job ever!…

Without professionalization, standards would not be set for an individual to act professionally. Both professionalization and professionalism are key components to nursing.…
