For this reason, I value the confidence customers have in the pharmacist when given consultation about their prescriptions. I especially liked interpreting to the Hispanic customers; since I am Hispanic myself, they had confidence in me helping with their medication and seemed more relieved about their health and well-being. I remember one day, one of my co-workers was trying to help a customer over the phone and could not understand them. She put the customer on hold and asked me to talk to them “I think they are Hispanic, I cannot understand them” she said. When I answered the phone, I realized they had an accent, but I could understand their English, they were not Hispanic. I have learned that medicine and nutrition can be an effective intervention approach for prevention and or control of many health problems like cardiovascular disease and diabetes. I am eager to prepare for a career in pharmacy by enrolling in an accredited College of Pharmacy. I like to study and want to learn all I can to become a pharmacist.
