Professional Goals In Healthcare

My professional goal for pursuing my degree is to be able to help others while motivating them for a successful career in the medical field. My desire is to show compassion to employees, to gain their trust, and be their sounding board. To personally pursue my goal as a leader in Healthcare Administration is something that I hold very close to my heart. I currently work at a federally qualified health center which is in the heart of a rural community. This facility sees many patients that barely have enough money to buy gas to get to their appointments yet alone buy medication. I take pride in helping those patients find ways to get needed medication by using patient assistance programs and transportation funds our clinic funds by donations. …show more content…
Our CEO is not business minded and mad some very bad decisions that affected our revenue and our reputation. The office morale has been very low and motivation has suffered. I want to change this attitude whether in the office or somewhere else. I want staff to be a team and support each other for the purpose of making better changes for staff and our community. I definitely feel this degree will help in both my personal and professional goals. I will become stronger, more valuable employee and asset to my profession. Like others, I have encounter difficulties in my education endeavors but none of them have prevented me from finishing school or completing a course. I have a great support system to keep me motivated and focused on my studies and I am determined to do this and to prove to others I can do this. I am a strong woman with goals on mind that I intend to achieve and I intend to achieve these goals at any cost. I have an advantage already because I am a firefighter’s wife and a mom of three boys all under the age of 10 and work 40 plus hours a week. My strengths are I am a good listener I follow instructions and I will ask for help. My family, and friends and co-workers are providing support and encouragement during my education journey. I am willing to commit to at least 10 hours a week for studying if not more. I plan on studying on my day off as well. I am dedicated and I will achieve this goal I have made for
