Therefore, having passion for teaching is where the strength of the teacher enters and mixes with the teaching and learning to help pupils achieve their target while enhancing their self-esteem. Although supporting children in their learning can be challenging both for the teachers and the pupils as different pupils come into school with variety of attitude and boundaries.
As suggested by Tony little, “Any great education enables young people to develop a true sense of self-worth, with this come the ability to be useful to others.” (BBC Radio 4, 2014) In other words, for a teacher to be passionate about subject teaching, helps children to succeed by pushing and stretching their limits, to help them achieve in their learning. This helped me to enhance my standard in the classroom through the theories that I have learnt, whilst recognising the benefits of facilitating learning into practice. Furthermore, through the peer feedback on the poster it was clear that I jotted many points which could be shortened, this helped me to realise that I need to be precise and focused on the main role of my professional development. I have also researched variety of sources to back up my point of view, which has given me the insight on how students learn and develop. According to (DFE, 2014) teachers have a great power to take a professional responsibility under Equal Opportunity act( 2010) that covers race, disability, sexual orientation and belief, for maximising participants and enabling students to become confident, responsible citizens and achieve success in their learning. Therefore, as a pragmatist, this critical reflection has provided me with the opportunity to understand, relationship between student teacher and learning context .Hence, and all these teaching roles (see Appendix1) are important for my professional development as a trainee teacher which will provide me with new ideas and help me to be a positive, creative, and ambitious reflector who is able to focus on child’s
