The Arts of Professional Bass Fishing
1.The occupation I have picked is Professional bass fishing. I Have always loved fishing since the first day that I was taken fishing with my dad when I was two years old. The adrenaline of pulling in a 10 pound bass is hard to beat for a country boy like me. Fishing doesn’t just involve fun on the weekends any more to some anglers it's a life passion. Another reason i have chosen this occupation is because I started fishing B.A.S.S. High School Fishing tournaments. So far I have fished at least fifteen tournaments. I have not yet won a tournament, but have placed in the top ten. Professional bass fishing is a payed sport such as football or baseball, …show more content…
One of the key main things is a boat, you will need to research and find the perfect boat for you. You don't haft to buy a eighty thousand dollar boat you can fish out of a thousand dollar boat. Next you need to buy some tackle and gear. This career does take money to get started so sponsors do help, but you can not expect for big companies to sponsor you with no record. And 5.Tournament bass fishing does not require a education. Bass fishing is something that is usually taught by family or friends at a young age. I can't even remember the first time i went fishing with my dad. I do not suggest jumping up from a background with no fishing and spend tons of money on equipment. A good way to find fishing knowledge is to ask a older gentleman who has fished for bass with decades of experience. “You need to understand the lifestyle and habits of a largemouth bass, basic weather and effect on the bass, bass lures and how to fish them”(Holiday,1). Ask them nicely to take you fishing and show you some tricks. Another good way is by research. Research what lakes bight on. Research what color lure to throw in different weather. Watch videos on the proper way to through a specific lure. There are tons of things to
