Swish!!!!! There's another bucket from Lebron James, who is the highest paid athlete and who also makes 71 million dollars a year. Professional athletes take time away from their lives. They deserve to have high salaries. They take time away from their families and their everyday lives. Some athletes put their lives on the line. Just for our entertainment, but we as fan repay them by packing the stands, by cheering for them, by supporting them through every win and every lost.
There are many reasons why athletes, like LeBron James, make the NBA for some people, if it wasn't for NBA players there wouldn't be any NBA reporters, trainers, or even coaches. Superstar players like Jordan or Joe Montana make sports the thing that makes a person's day; they put their lives on the line for our enjoyment. The armed forces, we have in America is a privilege some countries don't even have police. They fight for us and sacrifice their life for us. But athletes do a lot for this world they've changed it. Some athletes have inspired people to treat one another like family no matter what to show respect to everyone and never turning their back on anyone. Furthermore, Michael Jordan changed the face of teamwork. He made sure someone said something nice to everyone. Not only to the team, but to opponents. During games, they would give compliments to everyone they saw, guarded, or who they talked to. Most athletes in this century do play for the money, but there is some players who donate to charities, families, and schools.
