Most professional athletes, and entertainers earn large amounts of money, which is now up for debate. Many people have mixed feelings about how much they make. I agree that athletes and entertainers should earn large sums of money. There are three reasons why I agree that professional athletes, and entertainers should earn large sums of money. First and foremost, many athletes put their lives in danger. In addition, These athletes and entertainers work hard every day to be the best they can be. It is very hard to get in the NBA, MLB, NFL, and any other professional leagues. Finally, I agree with these individuals making high salaries is because they spend a lot of time traveling. As a result of these reasons, these individuals should earn high salaries. First, why I support professional athletes and entertainers earning large sums of money is because they put their life in danger. Athletes can get really bad injuries, and some can even die from these fatal injuries. They can be sent death threat comments, or even physically harm themselves. Some of the injuries that athletes get are life threatening. If they do get injured, they will need to go to the hospital, and they need money to provide for that. …show more content…
They have to work hard to get and stay where they are. They are the really talented as well so they deserve to earn a lot of money. Sometimes they put so much time, and effort into what they do that they become depressed. Some actually commit crimes, and do other terrible things. Not only to themselves, but to others all well.     I've always wondered why entertainers and athletes get paid more than doctors, lawyers, military personnel, etc. I disagree, I think that people who actually make an impact on our country should get a higher salary than people who just entertain us.
