Producer Consciousness is an idea that is very beneficial in making decisions that affect the outcome of one’s life. When initially choosing my major I had no idea what Producer Consciousness was, so this analysis was not taken into consideration. However, with that being said, looking back ultimately I made decisions consistent with Producer Consciousness. As bad as it may sound, perhaps the biggest driving factor when choosing my major was compensation. I felt like regardless of what I was doing, as long as I was being paid well I would be able to deal with the tasks at hand. In addition to compensation, I also wanted consistency. While change can be exciting and important in life I believe that consistency can also lead to a very well life.
