(The Critique of The prodigal son)
Do you you ever have a strange sense to run away? Do you ever feel like taking the money, and running to a new state? Have you ever wanted to be free from some of the family drama? Do you ever wonder what it’s like to live a life of luxury? What would happen if you ruined that life in a blink of an eye? In the parable The prodigal Son, there is a young man who is ready to be free and get his inheritance from his father. The down side about the whole situation, is he manages to waste it all in a short period of time. The fact is this young adult wanted his goods, but didn’t know that when it’s gone, it won’t come back. I feel like this piece of writing has it down to a tee, with how greedy young people can be, it also shows what it means to have a favorite child. There are three reasons why The prodigal Son has three inspiring message, and they are greed, a love for a child, and parents choose favorites.

In many cases it’s probably because there is that one kid that needs more attention than the others. In life there will always be the siblings that they are chosen last in the family, because the parents have a favorite. There are many examples, of this whole ordeal such as being the only girl in a all boy family. You can feel like you are a little less than the males in your family, it could, be a women who overreacts. The favorite child in a family could be anyone, it doesn’t have to be the youngest. It is said on line thirty “ But as soon as this thy son was come, which come; hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fattest calf”. This son was angry that the child could get away with the fact that he spent his father’s money and got away with it. Clearly, this son had some issues with his little brother for the sins he had
