Awake, work, home, relax, sleep, repeat. Probably most American workers go off this schedule every day of his/her life; doing the same routine over and over again. Is this really how we should live life? To a procrastinator, it isn't. People who procrastinate will take their time when they are assigned a task and will get it done. People who procrastinate will prioritize that the most important tasks will be completed. People who procrastinate will not let anyone down. Proactive people are like rats, when they see or think of something that has to be done, some accomplish it right away without thinking if they really need to do it. Even though some look at proactive people in a good way, people who procrastinate get more out of their life. …show more content…
Since procrastinators don't have work on their mind all day, they can think about other ideas that can be turned into big bucks; people are doing things or thinking about important ideas. Who knows, maybe one will become the next Albert Einstein or Billy Mays.
While proactive people are on the run to get everything done, procrastinators are turning more into unique people. According to psychology.com, when people are not actively working on a ask, their mind is collecting ideas and processing things to prepare us for it (Gambino). Better thoughts will flow into everyone's heads when we are thinking about something we are interested in.
In the end, procrastination is something some do every day. People can see procrastinators as helpful because they aren't sitting inside all day doing work for themselves. Not only does it give a person more time to enjoy each day, but also a chance to realize what is important to them. If we are not doing it right away, we will think twice about how important it is to us. Procrastination helps us really appreciate the people around us and the important task that is needed to be accomplished.
