Procrastination As Depicted In Proverbs

In Proverbs the word sluggard means lazy, the warnings given against being a sluggard were that if one overslept and and got lazy with their duties they would become poor, metaphorically as well as realistically. Procrastination is related to being a sluggard because one does not work when one should and wastes time. Some causes of being a sluggardly person would be, having things that one would rather do, not wanting to exert the effort on something that seems so far away, and the pertinence of the situation not yet dawning. Some people procrastinate more than others because others see the importance of getting things done early, they have goals and people who rely on them while others don't have those things they only have to worry about
