Procrastinating A Writing Steps

Improved Essays
The first, and most important, step to procrastinating a paper is having a class where you are forced to write a paper in order to get a good grade. For many, this may be hard, but it seems like I always manage to do it at least once a trimester. There are three main steps to procrastinating writing a paper, first you need to receive a paper to not write, then you have to spend a while not doing, and lastly, you have actually do the paper either last minute, or way late. Receiving a paper: sometimes this can be hard, some classes don’t offer very many papers to write. There are plenty of ways you can get a paper to write. One of the ways that I find that works the best, is to sign up for a bunch classes that are based in the language arts. …show more content…
While not very many people are able to do this, this step is still very crucial. A piece of advice I’ll give to you when trying to forget to do an assignment. My piece of advice for forgetting to do a paper, is to get busy with other stuff. Whether it’s sports, work, or other homework, you need to find something that’ll keep you busy enough that you won’t remember your homework. Lastly, you need to actually do the assignment. Your goal is to procrastinate, not fail a class. Eventually you do have to write your paper, and that doesn’t have to be the hardest thing in the world, you just have to start writing and go with the flow of your fingers. Now when you're writing your paper, you need to have be encouraged to do it, so that you can get it done, and do it well. Hopefully, you are the type of person that gets their work done on time, every time. However, if you are a person like me, then getting all of your assignments in on time can be a struggle. So your last resort is to procrastinate, and this isn’t always a bad thing, it’s just not the preferred way to go about doing your schoolwork. No matter which way you go about actually doing your school work, you know that it’s important to actually do the work in the end. Hopefully I was able to help, and I wish you luck in trying to do your homework, even if you waited to long to actually do

How I learned to read and write. There are many different ways that a child can learn how to start reading and writing. Such as, their parents reading to them when they were younger or having them read along with them. Parents sometimes have flashcards with letters on them to help their child learn how to write a letter and that will help them form words. This can lead to them later being able .to write sentences and so on.…

Throughout the semester of English Composition I, I learned any new things. Over the past few months I have learned many new tips on how to create a good paper. Although I gained much knowledge over the past few months I did struggle with a few things such as formulating a written thesis statement expressing my main point in the composition, producing rough drafts preliminary to the final draft, applying transition strategies to organize the entire composition cohesively and coherently, and overall practicing various prewriting strategies, such as thinking, brainstorming, listing, and freewriting.…

A writing experience that has stood out the most for me was when I was a sophomore in High School. There was a girl in my class who I wasn't so fond of who one day decided to announce to everyone that she had begun to write her own stories. She showed everyone pieces of her writings expecting to get nothing but compliments and be to deemed the class writer, but when she finally showed me her work I cringed at how deplorable it was. The stories had no clear perspective of whether it was written in first person or third person view, some of the simplest of words were spelled wrong, and many words were used in the wrong context. The class didn't seem to care for her stories so they just gave standard responses with no words for…
