Golf isn't an easy sport, taking a lot of practice and know-how to master it, one of the most common problems that amateur golfers have being the fact that they can't improve their swing.
If you are a fan of this sport and you like to indulge yourself in a weekly game to relax and unwind, but you haven't learned how to master your swing yet, read the following lines to get some useful tips on this matter.
Use the power of your body
A common trait of all amateur golfers when it comes to their swing is that they all use the power in their arms instead of the power in their bodies to power the club.
To learn how to handle powering the club with your entire body, you must practice a lot by putting the club behind the ball at adress, and keeping

To make sure that you are sitting in this stance correctly, draw an imaginary line from the top of your spine to the tip of your elbow, and from the tip of your knee to the ball joint of your foot. Also, don't forget to keep this stance from adress to just after impact, because if you don't you will affect the swing and you won't actually get to improve it.
Keep the hands low
By limiting the height of the followthrough, you will manage to effectively reduce the height of your shots.
While there are other methods to reducing the height of your shots, like choosing a stronger club or swinging easy, they are not as reliable and efficient as this method, and they are more difficult to master as well.
Just keep in mind to maintain a low position of your hands in the finish, and you will have a shorter trajectory of your shots.
Golf can be a relaxing game for both the body and the mind if you learn how to play it right, otherwise it can be really frustrating. Therefore, if you haven't mastered your swing yet and you don't know how to improve it, read this article to get some useful tips on this

When playing bad, all it may take is a change in mindset or attitude to get one back on track. Sometimes it’s a little change in swing thought that will turn one’s round around.…

Golf is full of failure. I would get so mad when I couldn’t control the trajectory or end result of my shots. It was not uncommon for me to quit the round. As I matured, I came to realize that the failures gave me a chance to learn. Practicing a shot over and over again, I came to understand why each shot differed from my expectations.…

To get Sam to change his attitude about changing his swing will be difficult since the swing feels good to him and he knows he can be successful with it. As a coach, we will have to relate his mind to a computer. We will have to work the new and improved swing into his short term memory or also known as working memory, which would eventually go to his long term memory. In the book, it says information can be kept in the working memory for about 20 seconds or less. However, the information can be maintained through rehearsal (pg. 176).…

While at a course in Georgia called Augusta National with my boss, I was taught how every single hole created on a course is to test a golfer in every single one of his abilities. The slope of every green has to be to a certain degree so that ball can roll a certain speed towards the hole without being disrupted by the wind or the literal glass blades used to make the green. A golfers swing has so many different aspects to fit his body and his body alone, that it can take years for some to be able to find their very own and be good at it. Plus, when you do find it you have to be able to use your surroundings and abilities to make sure that even when you place your ball on the tee in the box that you know where the wind lies compared to the slope dividing both of those variables with the grass and how far it will roll on which side of the fairway. It can be so confusing, but when you have someone explain it to you and you can see their passion for the game, it can change the way you go for the…

Imagery plays a crucial role in the ability to picture your proper swing prior to a shot. Ability to visualize the swing, or placement of a shot, before it is taken offers any golfer a clear vision of the task at hand. When visualizing a swing, or shot a golfer should think in pictures not words, physically seeing the shot take place in one’s head. Knowledge of the game is decisive, in having adequate proficiency to play each shot consistently. Club selection, as well as awareness of position on the course are invaluable to well-placed shots.…
