Process Essay On Getting Ice

We all have been outside on the hot summer day. Where you open the door to the house and it feels like you just opened the refrigerator. You walk into the kitchen and you are parched. All you want is to drink some water. Just not your ordinary water out of a bottle. No, it has to be the perfect cup of water to quench your thirst. The first thing you do is go to the sink and wash your hands with soap and water. You have been outside playing in the sand, and mom doesn’t like it when you leave hand prints everywhere. After your hands are washed, you walk into the second step and make your way to the cupboard and grab a cup. This is a hard process when the cups are in the top cupboard. You first pull out the bottom drawer, so you can climb up …show more content…
This may be a hard task because you might not be able to reach the ice cube tray. You make your way over to the step stool and drag it to the freezer. Once you get your ice out of the freezer, you fill your cup most of the way up with ice. After you take the ice out of the tray you walk over to the sink and fill up all the empty slots. Then place the tray back into the freezer. Then here comes the fourth step. You may think this is just a simple step, but it really isn’t. You start making your journey all the way across the kitchen to the sink. Once you reach the sink you stand on your tippy toes to try and reach the faucet but you fail. You have to go find the step stool so you can reach it. Once you finally get your step stool ,you can finally fill your cup. The fifth step is the hardest step. Having to pick out your favorite straw. You have the blue straw that is just straight, plain and boring. You have the red straw that bend at the top and makes noise when you pull out the end. Then you see it the perfect straw. It's purple and has all the twist and bends in it. You just know that's the straw, so you grab the straw and place it in your cup.
