How to Survive a Night of Baby Sitting
It’s Friday night and you want to go out with your friends but you’re broke. So you decide to take an offered babysitting position. Babysitting can be a difficult job whether you have experience or not. First, you should set up a meet and greet with the parents and child or children depending on how many kids you are going to babysit. So you have an idea of how the child or children act. That also shows the parents that you are dedicated to getting to know their children. The children will also feel more comfortable having an idea of who they will be spending their time away from their parents with. Make sure you get the parents contact information and any emergency contacts they wish for you to call. Also all of the children’s allergies and any medications the children are on. As well as the parents rules and expectations so everything is clear. Secondly, you should bring a bag of things that will help you get through the period of time your babysitting. For example, find some movies that the children would like. But make sure they are they are rated appropriately possibly some crafts depending on their age. Start by asking the children what they want to do, but make sure it follows

We have such a close bond something that I wouldn’t trade for the world. I have all of these wonderful memories and experiences because I decided to start babysitting. Babysitting is a great way to sharpen your care taking skills so that way if you decide to have kids of your own you will have plenty of experience and knowledge. You have to have compassion and understanding as well as nurturing skills to be an efficient babysitter.
