Process Essay: Does Running Brings Clarity

Running Brings Clarity Running is good for a lot of things in today’s society. Neuroscientist believes that running brings clarity, in other words, it is a good activity to clear the mind. I believe this is true. I run a lot so I have actually experienced this sensation that these scientists believe. I have been running since I was a little kid. I have been involved in many sports such as: basketball, baseball, football, and track. I believe that running does clear the mind based off experience, other peoples’ experiences, and because running is essentially becoming a go-to activity for a lot of people in today’s society. Some of my experiences of running makes me believe that running brings clarity. When it is hot, I run on a daily basis because it makes me feel good afterwards. Running tends to increase in popularity. So many people fall towards running when it comes to exercising or even running for a hobby. I believe that running does so much for the body mentally and physically. “Also, there are hours of clear-headedness that follow a long run” (Dahl). There is something special about running that tend to attract more and more people to it every single day. To some, running is a trending topic that can top many hobbies today. “A good run can sometimes make you feel like a brand-new person” (Dahl). Scientist most definitely can become persuasive when it comes to this topic. Although it is a fact, known from me, that running makes me feel good, other people might not believe so, therefore it is an opinion. I highly suggest, such as these scientist, running when you are feeling down, or you just need to clear the brain.
