Probation Staff Position

The position that I observe as a possible career path would be the public defender position, the clinical director, the case manager or the probation officer position. These positions work within the Center for Court Innovation to help mandate and operate the daily routine in the court. One position that I found interesting was the probation staff role. My career goal is to be a Probation officer working in the Juvenile Delinquent deparment were I will collaborate with the courts to found an alternative to creating effective resources and programs for the youth. But in Newark Municipal Court, the probation staff worker’s duties are to push offender in the community court program and to enroll the offenders in the CAPS system. They act as the
