I’ve seen too many friends fall into the wrong path and make some awful life changing decisions. Before the end of my high school career I had witnessed individuals from groups around me participate in gang shoot outs, fights, distribution and usage of drugs. As I’ve seen my peers commit crimes and were introduced into the criminal system, I thought to myself that the negative effects brought by my peers has taken a substantial impact on our community. I questioned, if their own teachers and friends won't bother to help then who will? Troubled youth need a role model who can be strong willed to help them make a better future for themselves, search for a purpose in life, and won't give up on them like everybody else did.…

The reason cannot include the officer himself “When off-duty officers act for purely personal motivations, court have held that they are not acting as law enforcement.” (‘Aele’). If the case is arguable and not personal than off duty officer may be found to have acted under a racial arrest.…

Working holidays, nights, and long hours is a necessity of the job and officers have to possess that devotion to duty in order to fulfill this obligation as well as continuously improving on their job skills. I have recognized that departments with high turnover rates often have low moral.
