When it comes to placing convicted felons on probation, I believe that this should depend on the charge that individual was convicted of. For example, someone who has been convicted of murder should not be released with probation in my opinion. Even then, it should still depend on the small details of the case. Was that person defending themselves? Did that person perform the act with the intention of killing another person? These are things that we may never know the full answers to simply because we were not there at the time. What we hear about those cases come from the news which we
