Pro Life Or Pro Choice

Decent Essays
This is not a debate about whether you should or should not be pro-life or pro-choice. This is a question. Are you really pro-life? I am sure, if you claim to be pro-life, you are demanding to know just what the hell am I asking! How dare she question me!! But seriously, are you truly pro-life?

Babies lives matters, abortion is murder. This is a chant I have heard (and believe it or not, I believe in) for all of my life. However, some of the people who pronounce this are the same people who just do not give a crap about the children after they are born. I am sorry, but if you answered that you are indeed pro-life you can not stop worrying about the child after they leave the womb. Children all over the world, including the United States,

Throughout the time that I have been alive, the debate between pro life and pro choice has always been a big one. Usually, people with strong biblical beliefs side with pro life because they look at it as if you are killing a human and a chance at life given from God. Someone with very strong biblical beliefs is former Heisman Trophy winner, Tim Tebow. Tim Tebow led the Florida Gators to two National Championships, was a 3x All American, was selected in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft, and lastly, he always made sure his christian beliefs came through in everything he did. Whether that meant writing biblical phrases on his eye black, ending every one of his speeches with God Bless, and lastly, starring in controversial commercials defending pro life.…

The term “pro-life” means anti-abortion. To say that someone is “pro-life” is to say that the person has an obligation to respect and legal protection for every human life regardless of viability, intent, or quality of life concerns. The pro-life movement is basic and solid: “The preservation of life itself” Because life itself is prior. Their goals are to protect the right to life. However, the debate opposite, “pro-choice” believe that individuals have unlimited autonomy with respect to their own body.…

Pro-lifers Should be Advocates for all Children Many people who are pro-life are serious advocates of unborn children. Many are dedicated to a political position that would even abolish the right to abortion. While I respect this pro-life position, I believe that people who are truly pro-life should be consistent in their advocacy of all children -- unborn and born. As much as advocating for the lives of unborn children, pro-lifers should focus as well on protecting the interests of the nearly half million children in the US foster care system, of the many children who suffer from poverty, and of children who are exposed to extreme environmental threats.…

Pro-choice is the most sensible standpoint on abortion at this day and time. If abortion was made illegal, it would not stop the process of aborting a fetus, but actually make it dangerous, unsafe, unsanitary and harmful because people would be performing abortions on their own or worse, doing things that they think would terminate their pregnancy (such as consuming alcohol or drugs), but ending with their child being born with illnesses or defects. Pro-choice reaches out to all women and whether or not a woman decided to keep their baby or not, it’s comforting to know that they have a say about their body and their future. It’s vital to keep the lifestyle of families today healthy and thriving, not struggling and scary. Pro-choice leaves the…

I'm pro-life when it comes to abortion i feel their is only one exception to this and that's rape. If you're old enough to spread your legs then you're old enough to take responsibility for your actions those babies don't have a choice, they didn't ask to be brought into this world you did it to them so taking their life away before it fully begins then in my opinion i feel you should be locked up for murder of a child, endangerment of an unborn child, child abuse…… i feel that those should be punishable by death you're killing human beings still they didn't ask to be here you did this to them you have no right to take a human beings choice. Pros- 1#The US Supreme Court has declared abortion to be a "fundamental right" guaranteed by the US…

Often, people that say they are "personally prolife" but would never impose their views on someone else. What they fail to realize is that this view is completely illogical. If abortion is truly murder, than we have the obligation to tell people not to do it. If it's not murder, there's no reason to be against it at all. To say, "I'm personally prolife, but I don't have to right to tell someone else what to do" is to say, "I'm personally against the slaughter of 700,000+ babies annually (this is from the CDC's website.…

Many people throughout the world are pro-choice; however, there are many people out there that are pro-life. Abortion is a big problem in the United States, and sometimes women or teens try to do a procedure on their own because they are scared to go to the hospital or do not want anyone to know. Most of these women or teens end up killing themselves and the baby because they do not know how to do a procedure safely. Pro-choice should be allowed because women have the right to choose what they want to do with their bodies and lives. Most mothers do have the right to chose what they want to do with their baby and their body, but if the girl is under eaighteen she will have to have a parent consent.…

There has been a long existing debate of “Pro-Life” versus “Pro-Choice” about whether or not women should be able to abort a child. Many people being Pro-Choice will use the argument that the fetus isn 't a living person, and rather that it is the woman’s body; therefore the woman’s choice. There are other options women have such as adoption: waiting until the baby is born and providing the child a well-suited family to properly care for them. I believe any way you can avoid aborting a child is better than abortion because you give the child a chance for life. An unborn child in the womb contains all of the characteristics for it to be considered living, proving abortion is morally and scientifically wrong.…
