Pro Choice vs. Pro Life There are many reasons on both sides of this issue of why people believe it is or is not okay to have an abortion. Many believe that it is a woman’s right to choose to end her pregnancy or not. The U.S. Supreme Court has declared that it is a right guaranteed by the Constitution. Many would also believe that in choosing to end her pregnancy, she is committing murder, and that although the child is unborn, it is still a living being with the same right to live as its mother. Pro Choice gives women the right to decide if having a child is right for her, and that choice does not end the moment she becomes pregnant.…

If you're old enough to spread your legs then you're old enough to take responsibility for your actions those babies don't have a choice, they didn't ask to be brought into this world you did it to them so taking their life away before it fully begins then in my opinion i feel you should be locked up for murder of a child, endangerment of an unborn child, child abuse…… i feel that those should be punishable by death you're killing human beings still they didn't ask to be here you did this to them you have no right to take a human beings choice. Such bills and amendments would include, the Hyde Amendment, which blocks federal funding for Medicaid to cover a woman’s abortion with the exception of rape, incest, or medical complications (Planned Parenthood). Then there are others, such as the 20-week ban, which is the maximum number of weeks that a woman can be pregnant after the act of conception (Planned Parenthood). This also falls under what the views are for those that are in governmental power. For example, those that are in a democratic view point tend to be more pro-choice on the issue of abortion, siding with a forty-seven percent that these bans and limitations are wrong, but providing alternative solutions to aid women in having safe and legal abortions (NAF). As opposed to…

In Patrick Lee’s and Robert P. George’s, On The Wrong of Abortion, it is argued that abortions are objectively immoral. To support this conclusion, Lee and George state that, the fetus is a complete person in an immature phase of development, that the fetus has the potential to develop into a “person” and that abortions are intentional killings. Pro-Choice defenders argue that a human fetus is not a human being because it cannot live on its own, that they are not ‘people’, and that the mother has the executive decision of not wanting the child in her uterus. According to Patrick Lee in another one of his works, The Pro-Life Argument from Substantial Identity: A Defence. Bioethics , He claims that “What makes it wrong to kill you or me now would…

Women can also think about keeping the baby themselves. Babies cost a lot of money and take a lot of time and care, but raising a child is so rewarding.…
