All over the world individuals are getting married, but the problem is, why are the same gendered couples not being allowed to get married to their significant other? Same sex marriage is frowned upon by many americans, however those that are wanting to get married are not able, or have to go to different states to get being married approved by the federal government. There are many reasons why same sex marriage should be legal.

Although some people have disagreements with same gendered couples getting married, for instance in an article saying gay marriage should not be legal it states, “Homosexuality is gross. There is nothing "loving" about the physical relationship between two men.” (http://www.charismanews.com). Marriage is not always based on a physical relationship as long as each individual is happy, including others not in the relationship, and one way a person can do this is by supporting this couple that is wanting to get married to one
