In the United States, we are given the ability to choose our life experiences. However, in most states we are not allowed the choice to die peacefully or painfully. In the United States, there are people who face an unbearable suffering prior to their own death. These people are forced to suffer from mental and physical pain, knowing that there is no cure to save them. Rather than dying, these people are prolonged their own death, only to suffer longer. It should come to no surprise that some of these members choose death over life. Eventually there is a point when someone believes that they have had enough suffering.
