Justice must be served for the families of victims of heinous acts much like rape and/or murder, the death penalty will help the victim or the victims family peace of mind knowing that the criminal is now taken off the streets and has no prosibility on returning to society. This gives not only them the feelig of saftey again but everyone in the community. By the criminal being sentenced to death this give the criminal no possible chance of harming anyone else or commit any further crimes.the proper justice would be served for the crimes committed.

Mostly murderers are on death row just living out the remander of their lives in a small cell. Living out the rest of your life in a small cell until you die is torture.
