Pro Animal Testing Cons

Today there’s a total amount of 19,500,000 animals that is killed each year in research according to Animal Welfare Association. Animal testing has been the method of testing new cosmetics and medication for many decades, all the time it has been used it has been many debates about the different methods human’s use against animals to find new medications and cosmetics. I think we should change the method of testing cosmetics because animal testing is cruel and causes huge pain for the animals.

Why is animal testing used? There are many factors that play a huge part in why animal testing is still used and are a good way to get good results in research. The biggest part why it’s still used is that many people claim that animals is just like us, and according to studies, mice and rats (that are 85% of the animals that are used) are indeed very alike us humans, also chimpanzees and other monkeys are very alike humans. Animal testing has also resulted in major medical advances development of antibiotics, vaccines, and surgical techniques, which is very good.

Even though animal testing have resulted in great development in medicine it’s still a method that is very painful for the animals. Every year more than 19 thousand animals is used for animal testing. PETA (People for the Ethical

The whole thing depends on your own morals and what you think its right. A lot of people does not consider animal testing bad because it’s helping humans a lot in research and it results in a lot of good things. Other people don’t like animal testing because they think its bad for the animals and that it’s not morally right. There are a lot of alternatives and other methods that can be used instead of animal testing and experimentations.
