Private rehabilitation programs are designed to assist the injured worker in returning to work as quickly as possible. A rehabilitation program would be designed that would enable John Q to return to work in either the same vocation or a similar vocation with current employer or another employer. Assessment options in private rehabilitation are limited to those required to provide injury related information. These assessments are used to determine what needs to be accomplished in order for the individual to return to work or determine if individual is permanently disabled and unable to return to work.
