Charlie made the incorrect decision when he hid in the bushes while Nostrils was getting beaten up. You should always defend a friend even if it puts your own personal safety at risk. Charlie should have confronted Jimmy Barlow, so to help Nostrils. Helping a friend would increase self-pride. Intervening could help reduce the damage that the victim suffers. For these reasons, I believe that you should always protect a someone, even if it puts you at risk.

Firstly, Charlie ought to have stood up to Jimmy Barlow to help Nostrils, as he was Charlie's only friend. Nostrils was one of the only people his age that wouldn't pity Charlie about his father's death, which resulted in them building a strong fellowship. Nostrils' parents welcomed Charlie with open arms and offered him food showing that they trusted Charlie to protect him, only for Charlie to abandon

Through doing something, you could get hurt, however, two people getting slightly hurt is much better than one person getting severely injured or killed. It is wrong to just sit and wait while another person, whether you know them or not, suffers, is just inhumane. If you intervene, you could greatly decrease the injuries suffered by the victim. How could you live with yourself, knowing you prioritise yourself over everyone and anyone else? Doing something for the greater good that would benefit others is better than over worrying about your personal safety.

In conclusion, Charlie settled on the inaccurate choice when he stowed away in the bushes while Nostrils was getting attacked. You need to dependably safeguard a friend, regardless of the possibility that it puts your very own wellbeing in troubles way. Charlie should have defied Barlow to help Nostrils. It would be a very risky task to try to get him back when all you are armed with is a small band of untrained boys. Most people agree that they decided to try, some people think that it was a good idea to get him back, other people think Daniel should have given him up. Being put in a situation that has a negative outcome no matter what an individual does can be relatively difficult. The reason for this is because that person will typically have to make an important and tough decision. The way one decides what to do demonstrates his or her personality and character. If the decision the person makes benefits themself, but negatively impacts the other person, it can be assumed that they’re uncivil and essentially self-centered. However, if the individual makes the choice that would benefit another person but doesn’t benefit themself, it can be concluded that they are caring and altruistic.…

Should people have the right to demand emergency services when they put themselves at risk? If you are warned about attempting something dangerous and you do it anyway, that is stupidity. Damon And Pythias Analysis

Between “Damon and Pythias” and “Two Friends”, I believe that “Two Friends” presented friendship more realistically. The fact that “Damon Pythias” is a Greek legend, meaning that it’s an exaggerated story, makes its presentation of friendship a lot less realistic. On the other hand, “Two Friends” presented friendship more realistically since the author left a lot of hints, which foreshadowed the developments of the story. For example, it may seem unrealistic that M. Sauvage and M. Morissot went fishing in spite of the danger from the German troops nearby. However, this is realistic since in the previous paragraph, it’s mentioned that “They went into a little café and had an absinthe, then resumed their stroll along the sidewalks.…
