As Olajuwon has stated, he endorsed in a shoe brand that normal individuals can afford. Nike, Reebok and many other high branded companies are retailed for a higher price than regular shoes. This may be because many sport celebrities wear the famously known branded shoes rather than the lesser known ones. Many of their fans want to invest in products which their star athletes wear, which is most of the time expensive branded products. Most of the time, children get influenced and ask their parents to buy them the product. Many families cannot afford athlete endorsed products such as Nike shoes. The kids will then go to an extent where they will start stealing from stores or other kids who have the shoes, which happens when the kids get really …show more content…
The more the celebrities put themselves out there for the world to see, the more attention will be given to them and would be seen by millions of people. But, their privacy plays a big factor in their lives because they want what is most safe for them. That is why the celebrities privacy is limited for the people who want to know everything about them. For example, Kim Kardashian who appears in the show, Keeping up with the Kardashians, recently opened up on her incident of a robbery in her Paris hotel. She explained how she was was robbed at gunpoint and what she thought about in her head while this tragic incident was occurring. She also explained how maybe the robbers who stalked her knew which hotel she was staying at and whether or not she was in the room or not at the time. She said that she snapchatted where she was and where she was going. So by this, the robbers took advantage and followed her every move knowing where she is because of social media, specifically snapchat.
