The United States Criminal Justice System has countless things to improve and it has been compared to other countries to see the difference. The United States prisons and jails were compared to German prisons and there is a huge contrast between the two countries. The way the Germany inmates are treated is way more comfortable and relaxed than America’s. “The men serving time wore their own clothes, not prison uniforms” (Turner and Jeremy).
