Princess Diana married into the British royal family, which resulted in two children with the marriage ending in divorce. She married the Prince of Wales, Charles Philip Arthur George (“Diana, Princess of Wales”). Prince Charles and Princess Diana had met previous times before they finally began a relationship. When Princess Diana visited her sister, she met Prince Charles again in 1980. He proposed to her after they dated for about six months (“Princess Diana Biography” about.com). A little less than a year after the wedding, Prince Charles and Princess Diana had a child. Their first child, Prince William Arthur Philip Louis, was born on June 21st, 1982 (“Princess Diana Biography”). Two years later, Prince Charles and Princess Diana had another baby boy.
