To begin, the princess shows traits of curiosity. Throughout the story we find out how she will go out of her way to be oblivious to her fathers actions. "Had it not been for the moiety of barbarism in her nature, it is probable that lady would not have been there"(Paragraph 13, 3). This quote shows how she was curious as to how the trial would play out.
