The Epic Journey of Princess Alara (and that other Prince)
The day had come for Prince Casper and Princess Alara to journey across the vast nation of Sway. It had been tradition to always send a Prince from the east side of the kingdom to meet a Princess (from a different lineage, of course) who lived on the west side of the kingdom. Both royals must make the dangerous trek to the very center of their kingdom, in order for a grand wedding to take place. Princess Alara marveled at the decorations that draped between each house, and realized with more unease that she would become a married women within the next few days. She began to weave through the crowded streets towards the mansion where she would be staying at, eager to meet her soon-to-be husband.

I can definitely say mine was not- some of the villages didn't even bring me welcome gifts! I had to walk through the grasslands absolutely deprived of presents!” Prince Casper finished his speech completely serious and woebegone.
“Oh, really?” Alara made out through gritted teeth. “How dreadful.”
She began to plan her escape later that

This change alters the theme from good conquering evil to a story between a mother and daughter. As part of Maitland’s new theme, she promotes a feminist message within her version of the fairytale. In some instances as in both movies, some people meet their soul mate early in their lives but somehow get disconnected from them until later on in life. Perhaps the most essential elements in finding true love and happiness are hope and persistency. We must all be like Cinderella and Sam and hope that one day we will overcome life challenges that prevent us from being happy and successful. We must also embody the characters of Prince Christopher and Austin in that we should be persistent and never give up on finding our soul mate. Both movies of the Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella and A Cinderella Story depict different versions of the story of Cinderella but they both share the same concepts and themes: mistreatment of a young girl by her step mother and step sisters, the importance of father figures in a young girl’s life and the hope of finding true love and living happily ever after.…
