In the “Princes in the Tower” article, “Sir Thomas More states that the princes were smothered with the pillows on their beds by Sir James Tyrell, John Dighton and Miles Forest” (Paragraph 7). This goes to show that Elizabeth was probably in the tower while this was happening to her sons. As a mother she didn’t know nothing of it and she couldn’t have. She was probably busy doing something else while her sons were getting murdered or she was probably already sleeping. Once she found out about the murder, I can not imagine how she felt because as a mother, that has to hurt knowing that you were there under the same roof and wasn’t aware of anything that was going on.
