Primus Beer Advertisement Analysis This Primus beer ad shows a group of seven young men and women on a make shift raft of some sort floating in the middle of the ocean drinking and playing foosball. The boat they were on sinks in the back ground and the group seems oblivious to the dangerous predicament they’re in. Shark fins are seen in the water surrounding the group’s raft. All the while the group is drinking Primus Beer and is careless to the situation. The Primus Beer ads is effective by making the product look better than it actually is and as if it will make you forget your hardships which in turn makes the consumer relate the ideas portrayed to their own life. A man who is afraid of asking a woman out on a date may drink this beer after he sees the ad because he will relate the ad to the situation. If he drinks Primus beer he will be carefree and have no worries just like the group on the makeshift raft and will ask out the girl in return. So by buying and drinking this beer he will gain the courage to perform the task. This is the loss of your personal inhibitions that make you have the sudden bravery to do something you may not do while sober. The Primus Beer ads is effective by making the product look better than it actually is and as if it will make you forget your hardships which in turn makes the consumer relate the ideas portrayed to their own life.
The consumer relates ideas portrayed in the Primus Beer ad to their own life which makes it an effective ad because it makes it seem like you will forget your hardships. Primus Beer has done a great job with how they created their ad and related it to the public. Many people will see their ad and want to buy the product because of how well they have presented it. Even the script in the ad shows the reader that all they need is to drink Primus Beer and it will be okay even if the worst thing happens. .
