At the time I had to decide to give my all to school and leave the company. I knew that this decision to attend school would cause my availability to not meet the scheduling needs of the company and had to decide between the two. It was a very hard decision to make because I loved my job.…

According to career cruising and the Learning Style Test that I took, I learned out that I am a 10% visual learner, a 20% auditory learner, and a 70% tactile learner. With knowing that I am mostly a hands on learner, I have chosen that a Diesel Technician would be a great career choice for me. The main work of line as a diesel tech is always hands on. From my matchmaker/ skills test, a diesel Technician came up as an A+ rating for me. Other A+ ratings that came up too were a Farm equipment technician, heavy equipment technician, and motorcycle technician, but none of these career paths appeal to me like a diesel technician does.…

Diversity is being surrounded by people of different backgrounds and learning from their unique experiences and connecting with them. As a Resident Advisor I will develop a diverse and inclusive floor by promoting awareness of the vast number of different cultures and backgrounds present not only on the floor but in the building as well. I would also make it a point to ensure that every voice on the floor carries the same weight; even if their voice and opinion is in the minority, I want them to know that not being in the majority does not means that they are wrong. Furthermore, I want to bring in a speaker from the Multicultural Centre to discuss the social customs of a culture that is underrepresented. I would also take them to guest speakers…

Establish more sequential and progressive assignments for WO1 882As that better prepare them for the Mobility Officer position in the BCT and the strategic assignments that follow. One way to do this would be to reestablish assignments for WO1 882As in the Movement Control Teams. During the initial implementation of the MWO, positions existed in the 6 transportation movement control teams (MCT). Over time the demand for MWOs in the BCTs and the limited number of MWOs in the army eliminated these positions. Reestablishing the MWO position and manning them with WO1 882As would create a company level sequential starting positions equivalent to the MWOs knowledge, skills, and attitude.…

The AMSP uses the best-qualified applicant criteria for admission versus a branch quota system. Unfortunately, under current AMEDD policy officers applying to the AMSP are limited to AOC of 67A and 67J. This restriction needlessly limits the available pool of applicants within AMEDD. It would be more advantageous for AMEDD to expand its available applicant pool to the best-qualified officer system, which could increase AMEDD officers selected for the AMSP. b. AMSP graduates possess extensive knowledge in operational art and science that enables them to serve as leaders and operational planners.…
