What elements would make a fashion brand store popular? A brand store should have trendy clothes, low cost, diversity, and good services. There are a lot of brands in the world would fit those category, but Primark is the one fits the best to all of those. Even though, Primark is not a familiar brand name to U.S. people, but it is very popular in European. Primark is the Ireland brand name and they started in 1969 in Dublin, Ireland under the name Penney. Nowadays, Primark has 270 stores across in nine countries in Europe and Americas. Primark is starting to hit on the U.S.; the first store was opened in Boston since September 2015. Primark has a low cost, good services, and it is a diversity brand. Mentioning about Primark, people will know it is a good brand which sells pretty clothes with low cost that fit college student’s pocket. The store located in Boston which has more than a hundred colleges in here. Which means there are a lot of college student in Boston, Massachusetts. Primark knows who are the targeted customers, that way they can set the appropriate price range. For example, consumers will have to spend about $100 dollars to get a Zara thick coat, but only about $40 dollars to get a nice one in Primark. Primark’s target is a nice clothes with low cost. For $5 dollars customers cannot buy a meal in a restaurant, but they can buy a warm gloves in Primark. Primark offers lowers cost compare itself to Walmart. For light running shoes, Primark costs $8 dollars; Walmart costs between $20 dollars to $30 dollars for a pair of running shoes. Moreover, Primark offers membership card for their loyal customers which let the customers collect the reward point. The benefits of getting the membership card is the customers can have a special promotion just for them. Primark has a lot of employees in every corners to arrange every items in the store. Even with the number of consumers that come to the store a lot for a day, regardless of that clothes always stacked up neatly in the cleanest way . Employees go around to pick up the clothes that drop on the floor, or clothes that are put in different positions. Primark’s workers always make consumers feel welcome when they come to the store. The employees stay around the store, so they can help if the consumers have any questions. Even employees need to work in a high rate, but they always give to their customers their smile and make the customers feel friendly about them. For example, when I was in the fitting room that I need to change the size for one of my item, but it is very inconvenient if I do it by myself. In Primark all I need is just hang clothes up the door and one of the employees will ask what do I need, instead of I need to dress up again and go get another size and get in line again. Emotion is very important in shopping, happy and satisfaction are what Primark is bringing to customers for the
