Discounted clothing usually are manufactured overseas as production costs, wages are very low in resulting into costs along the supply chain reducing. The sweatshop factories are a big concern to retailers as it has been criticise for the unethical manufacturing methods, having a big concern on the bran image of discount retailers.

Tesco’s F&F and Tu by Sainsburys have made into the fast fashion list, whereas at first they were negatively known for the basic and cheap product for consumers who would spend less for more. With the recent trend of ‘fsat-fashion’, those supermarket brands have adapted themselves to provide up to date trendy clothing.
Tesco F&F seems to have been in competition with H&M, as they have peaked with having their collections being in fashion catwalk shows, which places them above the average supermarket discount brand.
