Has a book ever changed your life? If so, which one and why?
I’m always reading but I’m one of those people that if I don’t read it again I’ll forget I read it in the first place. Sometimes I find myself reading books and just thinking, “Wait didn’t I read this already?” Two books that I always remember are Pride and Prejudice and The Great Gatsby. Pride and Prejudiced changed my life because it changed some of my perspectives on writing. I used to only write poems and that’s it but after I read this book I started to explore other forms of writing and I’ve loved it ever since. There are so many way to analyze the story and examine the differing characters and this book taught me to enjoy just that. The Great Gatsby on the other hand touched me on a more existential level. It kind of got me thinking is this big dream we have in America a lie? Is the American Dream dead? I connect with Gatsby on the level of he did what he had to do to succeed but he went too far. Why?

I don’t regret any friendships I’ve had because they have all led to lessons learned that I needed to become who I am. Everyone adds to your life no matter what. Even when they take away they give you something.
What is the angriest you 've ever been? When? Where? Why?
That’s a hard one because anger for me is in the moment and then I forget all about it. But I guess when I got into this fight with my friend in middle school. (Not a physical fight lol.) And then it kind of infected the rest of our group and everyone picked sides so we all just split into two groups. Then my friend and I made up but nothing was the same again. And no I really don’t remember why we were mad I just know that I was.
