I decided to do my assignment on the song “Price Tag” by Jessie J. featuring B.o.B that was released on January 25, 2011 in the United Kingdom. Jessie J.’s conceptualizations about money are the un-importance of money, and although money is an incentive for modern people, there are other aspects to living a good life such as love and music. For example, in the chorus there is a part that sings, “We don’t need your money, money, money, we just wanna make the world dance, forget about the price tag” shows that the artist has an intention that she does not want a person’s money but rather make the world a better place.
