There are many ways for a child to be hurt or seriously injured in a sport. Every year there are millions of children that get sent to the hospital due to sport related injuries. Luckily, there are many ways to prevent such injuries. First, stretching out muscles is a good way to prevent cramps and other muscle pains. Stretching the wrong way will do nothing but make a child look like they do not know what they are doing. Stretching the right or wrong way determines how the child will perform in a game and how bad their muscles hurt after a hard practice.
