It’s very clear that these mass shooters are not one hundred percent mentally stable, but the question remains on how such people are able to obtain these guns. No one in their right mind would hire someone as an elementary school teacher if they knew that they were charged with ownership of child pornography, which is why the everyone in the household must have a clean history. Similarly to before, the potential gun owner might have a clean background, but their household members may not. The possibility of a person who committed a violent crime gaining access to a lethal weapon in their own is already a dangerous thought on its own. The same rule must apply for those who are buying the gun for someone else, because they could also be an accomplice helping out someone who may not be allowed to be in possession of a gun.
