Preventing Childhood Injury

Kids are injured every day playing sports from a sprained ankle, to fractured bones, and even concussions at young ages. Even with education and technology helping to prevent some of these injuries as a parent it is a right to be informed on how to keep kids safe as can be. Everyone knows that not everything is preventable, but proper steps can be taken to insure the best possible precaution is taken. The risk of injury is not 100% preventable but the more we can do to reduce injury in our kids will help lead to a better environment to participate in sports and less likely to endure a serious debilitating and sometimes even life threatening

Lingering pain and the inability to do certain types of everyday tasks could limit their choices in careers and hobbies, something that no one at that age could fully comprehend or appreciate.
