Preventing Achievement Gap

There's a division that is a product of the life circumstances of children by the time young children start going to school. There will be an achievement gap that already exists, and it is not because of the children. It is not because of what they can know or do. Yet, it is because of the differential conditions that they have to live in. As educator's we need to help change that. If we succeed in achieving that*, it will be possible to prevent the achievement gap, maybe not in all, but definitely some of it.
