So far this year, there have been 21,295 total gun incidents in the U.S. Over 5,000 people have died and over 10,000 people have been injured. Homicide and gun accidents are some of the leading causes of death in the U.S. These deaths and injuries can easily be prevented. Our plan is to limit the gun availability to people whom are a threat to the safety of the public. We will require background checks in guns stores and at gun conventions. In addition, we will advertise smart guns. Smart guns is a firearm that includes safety features, like the owner being the only one to fire the gun.
