Andrew Johnson was impeached due to a sensitive and hostile country due to the after-effects of the Civil War. In addition, he and Congress did not agree to the terms of the Reconstruction and some bills that he vetoed. I don’t think Johnson deserved to be impeached because he was just sticking to what he thought was right and he was not abusing his power. I believe Richard Nixon rightfully resigned. Nixon abused his power completely by doing anything necessary, including tapping the opposing party’s phone lines and taking photos of their secret documents. This was not a Presidential thing to do and was very much out of line. Bill Clinton was the second President to be impeached. I think Clinton should not have been impeached. Clinton lied under oath to a grand jury and was also charged with obstruction of justice. Although as President, Clinton was a role model and leader, his main job was to run a country, and he was successfully doing that. Clinton’s actions were unpresidential, but as long as he was doing his job, his personal affairs shouldn’t be the reason he had to leave office. Lying under oath is bad, but it was not about something very important and was just a bid to cover up his affair. Moshe was impeached by God for hitting the rock and refusing to listen to Hashem. I believe Moshe was rightfully impeached because he had Hashem right by his side and still chose to ignore him. God gave Moshe and the Jewish people so many miracles, yet Moshe still did not have complete faith and went against God’s word, which is to me worthy of impeachment. Leading God’s nation is a huge responsibility, and having faith in God and trusting him should be something Moshe shouldn't have had to even think about.
