You see at the beginning I believed I had a strong committee, individuals who would put in the work, but it turns out being one of the smartest people in the class you get bombarded with people looking for an easy A. I should definitely have chosen my group better, that way I wouldn’t have been left alone to work on the project. Throughout the year, as a class we have been given many different challenges in either the form of an essay, speech, or group presentation. The final assignment given to us was a group project presentation. From growing up in an age filled with technology, I have come to love projects that revolve around making some form of a PowerPoint presentation. This PowerPoint though, was both difficult and interesting for the reasons of being assigned group members not of my own choosing, learning to listen to others ideas which can help me to learn something new, and using former knowledge while working together to create a clean, in depth, and well prepared presentation. With working in groups of students whom I have known since I was young but…

Throughout the course, I learned different aspects of project management, and skills that can be used in the everyday life as long as involve interacting with other people. In this class I learned about how to be a better team member. This semester I was reminded of how important communication is and how people need to keep emphasizing it as one of the most important skills any person could possesses. Being a leader is not an easy job. You have to put everybody before yourself. Leadership is more than just leading people in the right direction. Being leader doesn’t mean being the boss of everybody, that’s a completely different thing.
