It has now been one year during Trump’s time in presidency, and it would seem as though that his administration has yet to hit any of the big milestones that promised during their campaign. While they did gain some small victories in the past, it does not seem as though they would it big as of now. Even so, they still face nonstop backlash towards their approach to our government’s lawmaking and policymaking ideals. And yet, they will still continue to move forward, and stay on the same agenda, to which is the path of a businessman whom seeks out for a wealthy and stronger America. The president’s immigration policy has very few strengths such as preventing gang members from receiving immigration benefits and improving visa security by expanding State Department’s authority to combat visa fraud (Trump Administration Immigration Policy, 2017). In 2015, suspect Emmanuel Jesus Rangel-Hernandez avoided deportation through the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy. Emmanuel was charged with first-degree murder that resulted in the death of 4 people (The Scoop, 2015). Despite his criminal record and known gang ties, he was still granted to stay. Preventing gang members to receive immigration benefits is a strength because it can ensure public safety and even national security.…
