Insurance companies won’t go bankrupt due more insurance buyer coming in that probably won’t use their insurance anytime soon. Obama care is one great solution to solving this health care problem we had faced for years. Where many people were uninsured and those who were insured weren’t exactly covered. Insurance companies looked for loopholes for their own personal gain. Leaving those who thought they were covered with a huge bill to pay. The government has finally found a solution to this injustice that has been going on for decades. The medical insurance companies have been taking money from the people and government. Finally they have focused on the ones who had too little. This could be a step in the right direction for this country. In particular, Obamacare has hurt a number of small businesses, negatively impacted insurance premiums, and passed reforms that have adversely affected the medical industry and workers (“Obamacare: Pros and cons of Obamacare,” 2015). Another of the many failures of Obamacare was that it caused many people to lose the insurance plans they already had. Antos et.al (2015) states that the “goal of any reform should be to ensure that those who like the coverage they have are able to retain it (or a substantially similar plan)” (p.20). Obamacare with its many mandates, requirements, and regulations, essentially ensured that millions of citizens lost their previous coverage.…

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, “Obamacare”, affects the healthcare industry and the way America delivers healthcare. The act focuses on providing more Americans with affordable, quality health insurance through reforms, taxes, regulations, and exchanges. The benefits are that more Americans have health insurance, it is more affordable to have, people with pre-existing conditions cannot be denied coverage, regulates the health insurance industry, reduces health care spending, and there are no set limits on the amount of money insurance companies can spend on an individual. The unfortunate cons to the PPACA is many people have to pay higher premiums, taxes are rising due to the ACA, you can be fined for not having health insurance, and some employers are cutting employees hours to avoid covering them.…

The Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare, or other unsavory names is actually in my mind making the medical field and the availability of care for patients more difficult. Regardless of its benefits to some patients, the Obamacare is making things much more difficult for doctors, nurses and anyone in medicine. It has done nothing but increase paperwork and costs, and has done nothing to increase the quality of care.…

It has caused health insurance to rise, and it has been said that the Affordable Care Act was going to ease the financial burden on Americans and improve their coverage and care. Neither of the two has yet to occur. The Affordable Care Act has also forced everyone to pay for the taxes that Obamacare requires. Every health plan with more than $25 million dollars of premiums has to pay a portion of that giant tax (Brase). In other words, even those who are not covered by Obamacare, but instead have private insurance plans, will still be required to pay the tax through premium increases and other fees (Brase).…
