Time Magazine's Man Of The Year

At the beginning of the year Time magazine selects a special person to take the role of person of the year. For the year of 1968 Time magazine had a very tough time selecting a person that would push all American’s into a new year. After reviewing all persons, I would like to announce that the person that is Time Magazine’s Man of the year is the 35th U.S president John F. Kennedy. It is an honor to write about this man, and the positive changes he has made in this world. We will step back in time and share why this U.S President is 1968 man of the year. As a young boy John F. Kennedy had many setbacks with multiple sickness and was on the verge of not making it many times. But this did not stop him, he pushed back and started an uphill fight …show more content…
His boat was completely damaged with JFK in the water and every man swimming to safety JFK saw anther America sailor having a hard time to swim. With quick thinking and being hurt JFK grabbed the man and helped him to land. After serval days on land and avoiding the enemy the men were rescued. This would be the first for JFK to earn a Metal heroic conduct, and a purple heart for his back injuries. So this shows us his has passed the test of being brave and quick on his feet. JFK was later honorably discharged from the military, and started his life in protecting the America people. Like other politicians Kennedy started out small. He picked a small working class district in Boston, he later won and started to work for the people. Kennedy serviced three terms for this district showing the people he was the right man for the job. But Kennedy wanted to help more people and with this he needed more power. Kennedy threw his hat into a race for U.S Senate and won with the help form his family. This was young war hero that knew what the people needed, and could deliver it for them.
