On Friday, November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was shot down in a motorcade on his way through Dealey Plaza. Through investigation and debate, the Warren Commission found that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin (Report of the Warren Commission On the Assassination of President Kennedy). “The committee believes, on the basis of the evidence available to it, that President John F. Kennedy was probably assassinated as a result of a conspiracy”(“Top 10 JFK Assassination Quotes”). This final report done by the House Select Committee on Assassinations clearly contradicts the Warren Commission’s Report on the Kennedy Assassination which states that only a lone shooter killed JFK. According to the report, a “magic bullet” was the cause of the nonfatal wounds inflicted upon President Kennedy and Governor Connally. As shown by Figure 1, the magic bullet goes into the President 's throat, out of the body, makes a sharp right turn, then a sharp left turn into Connally’s chest, and finally turns right again into the wrist then into the thigh of the Governor. After all of this,, according to Figure 2, the bullet stays in pristine condition after causing seven wounds including two broken bones. However, the chief consultant in wound ballistics for the U.S Army says that, “Under no circumstances do I feel that this bullet could hit a wrist and still not be deformed. We proved that by experiments” (Hinrichs). Also in order to complete the shots accomplished, Lee Harvey Oswald must had to have shot “better marksmen than the experts from the US Army and the FBI,” ("Was Oswald an Expert Marksman?"). But, according to the U.S. Marines, Oswald was the lowest classification among shooters as a marksmen, which could not be classified as an expert shooter ("Was Oswald an Expert Marksman?"). First off, Oswald exclaims while being moved in the Dallas Police Headquarters, “I’m just a patsy!”(DavidVonPeinJFK).This shows that he is the only person being looked at because he lived in the Soviet Union and is being taken advantage of because of it. Next, Jack Ruby kills Oswald in the basement of the Police Headquarters before he is moved to the county jail. A possible motive for Ruby is to be an American hero, however it is believed that Ruby was just silencing Oswald from revealing the truth about the assassination. Finally, Oswald was involved with many groups with the motives and means to attack the president while in Dallas. Oswald was heavily involved in the Soviet Union throughout his entire life. He is a proclaimed communist and wishes to be apart of the communist nation to get out of the way of the United States, renounces his American citizenship and become a citizen of Russia (Rockwood). However, once JFK was sworn into office, his mysteriously wishes to come back to the United States, where he gets brought in to a Russian neighborhood in Dallas Texas (Rockwood).
